This year's group pairs a core of proven scorers and a fresh wave of Copper Country talent, much of it straight out of Calumet High. Here's who to watch.

Returning firepower

The Wolverines return their top two scorers from a year ago and a lot of players that shined during the 2025-26 campaign.

  • #6 Matt Yeo led the team in scoring in 2025-26 with 33 points, including 19 goals in 20 games. It was his third straight 30-point season and his best yet.

  • #11 Logan Rastello finished with 32 points (13 goals, 19 assists) and led the team in assists.

  • #18 Gabe Coppo is back after a 26-point season (8 goals, 18 assists). Before coming home, Coppo spent three years in junior hockey in the NA3HL, including a 41-point season with the Yellowstone Quake.

  • #74 Sherman Mowery posted 20 points last season, his fourth straight year with 20 or more. The Kentwood native played junior hockey with the Wisconsin Dells Ducks and college hockey at Davenport University.

  • #61 Liam Pomroy made a big jump in his first season out of Calumet High, putting up 17 points (4 goals, 13 assists) in 15 games.
