Calumet Wolverines Announce 2026-27 Schedule
Home Opener Set for Oct. 23 at the Calumet Colosseum
Senior A club plays 20 games this winter, 10 at home, before the GLHL Tournament and the Gibson Cup series in April
The Calumet Wolverines Hockey Club today released its 2026-27 Great Lakes Hockey League schedule. The 20-game slate opens at home Friday, Oct. 23, when the Wolverines host the McFarland Killer Bees at the Calumet Colosseum. Puck drops at 7:30 p.m.
The Wolverines play 10 games at the Colosseum and 10 on the road. Home dates run from October through mid-March and include a holiday-week matchup with the Portage Lake Pioneers on Saturday, Dec. 26. The regular season closes at home Saturday, March 13, against the De Pere Deacons.
On the road, Calumet travels to Wisconsin for a three-game weekend Nov. 6–8 against Fox Cities, Fond du Lac and Milwaukee. Trips to De Pere, Marinette, Mosinee, McFarland and Eagle River follow through the winter, along with a Dec. 4 visit to Dee Stadium in Houghton.
The postseason begins with the GLHL Tournament April 1–4 at the De Pere Ice Arena. The Gibson Cup series follows April 8–10, with Game 1 at Dee Stadium, Game 2 at the Calumet Colosseum and Game 3 back at Dee Stadium, if it’s needed.
